Marching Band Contest Descriptors

One of the outcomes of the work of the UIL/TMEA Marching Band Committee was the development of very specific descriptors to be used by judges as they assign ratings at UIL Region Marching Band Competitions.

These descriptors are being integrated into the existing marching band comment sheets. The application of these descriptors is now a part of all TMAA Marching Band Judge Workshops. These descriptors will figure heavily in the assignment of ratings at all future UIL Marching Contests at the region level.
